Azille is a small village in the heart of minervois, it is very quiet and has lots of history, please watch the link below of how life was in 1905 and when you visit you can see that not alot has changed except the fountain is gone and the train station is now closed.

Carcassonne

Visit this beautiful village just around the corner with the Canal du Midi running through it and excellent cafes and restaurants (approximately 8km), take a 2 hour boat trip from homp to La Redorte loch or hire a bike to view the beautiful canal for an hour/ 1/2 day or full day
